

SRS have been awarded the Project Management of all DNV class inspection and structural repairs on the Multidiscipline contract onboard the Borgholm Dolphin situated in the Cromarty Firth. This contract comprises of an intermediate survey of the Splash zone, fitting of escape to sea ladders and gantry’s, Anode replacement, All Diving works, UWELD survey etc...
SRS have been awarded the Inspection contract on the Technip Deep Blue Vertical pipelay tower system. This contract is onboard the Deep Blue Pipe lay Vessel situated in Mobile Alabama USA and consisted of NDT Inspection and Rope Access. SRS is also joining the Technip Deep Pioneer also situated in Mobile Alabama for the in service inspection programme of the PPSO1 pipelay system on the voyage back to Le Trait France.
SRS joins up with LOTOS Petrobaltic on two projects comprising of Top Side ECI interpretation of the spud can survey onboard the Drilling jack ups Baltic Beta / Petrobaltic Gdansk Poland.
SRS completed the Project Management of all DNV class inspection and structural repairs on the Multidiscipline contract onboard the Borgsten Dolphin comes to a close successfully. This contract comprised of Dropped Object survey and repairs on the Drilling Derrick also remedial repair’s and replacement of lighting on the derrick where required, crane bolt replacement, Life boat mounting and remedial work fabrication welding etc.., replacement of grease lines’ insertion and removal of stopper plates on the fair leads. SRS also provided an inspection diver to verify all anode replacement was carried out to DNV specifications.
SRS completes the inspection programme on the Technip Deep Blue vessel Reels and Carousel. This contract was onboard the Deep Blue Pipe lay Vessel situated in Mobile Alabama USA and consisted of NDT Inspection and Rope Access.
SRS Continues in to 2010 working closely with Technip Flexi France on two projects in Le Trait France. These Projects are multidiscipline Rope Access inspection programmes on the VLS 1 Vertical Pipe laying System, and the Carousel A and Spooling tower.
IRATA Audit for full Membership, SRS is now a full member of IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) this audit was carried out by Jim Grosset of Aquaterra.

SRS continues into 2010 working closely with Dolphin Drilling as there structural engineering team overseeing the DNV structural SPS survey and the TIPS programme onboard the Borgsten Dolphin situated in Invergordon, Scotland, UK.
SRS received approved supplier accreditation from Det Norsk Veritas (DNV) for NDT supplier category 402A and 402B, IACS Z17.

SRS joins the Technip Sunrise 2000 project, situated at the Naval Base in Rio De Janeiro/Brasil. This project was a multidiscipline Rope Access inspection programme and ship’s hull wall thickness survey. This project also developed additional work such as Visual and dropped object surveys. Eddy Current Inspection of the three main Deck Cranes, Helideck netting replacement. SRS were also requested by the Technip project team to undertake the role of the rescue team on this project. SRS also supplied a Brazilian liaison officer to supervise all Scaffolding Erection.

SRS joins the Technip Normand Progress at the Naval Base Salvador Brasil, for the VLS5 Inspection programme. The Scope of works consisted of Visual and dropped object survey’s followed by Eddy Current and Ultra Sonic inspection of main structural welds and components utilising rope access techniques.
SRS was involved in various projects worldwide from Namibia to Poland and Point Noire Africa in a supervisory capacity. These projects ranged from Crane Inspection Programmes on board the Technip Deep Pioneer to wall thickness surveys on Jack up platforms to Semi Submersible rigs.
SRS Completes the 300 tone Kenz Crane inspection programme onboard the Technip Deep Pioneer situated in Le Harve France. This Inspection Programme consisted of Eddy Current and Rope Access Techniques
SRS Joins the Technip Deep Pioneer at the Arno Shipyard Dunkirk France. This Project was a multidiscipline Rope Access inspection programme on the PPS01 vertical pipe laying system also the Carousel C storage unit and loading tower. This inspection programme consisted mainly of Eddy Current and Ultra Sonics also Visual and Dropped object surveys.
SRS is awarded the inspection programme on the CAROUSEL B (LCAR 0301), incorporating Spooling System LTOL-1101, 2000Te 20 Metre basket. This inspection programme utilised Rope Access Techniques and NDT methods ET, MT, UT, PT at the Technip Flexi France base in Le Trait France.
SRS was incorporated in January 2008, that year was spent developing the Quality Management System and all working procedures. Also throughout the year SRS was involved in various small projects in and around Invergordon Scotland. Clients included Port Services, and Dolphin Drilling on various Rigs and Platforms.
